The love I feel on Valentine’s Day starts with the love of my life. It will be 33 years this Thursday, February 17, when we officially started this journey of love.

Through this journey we’ve added more Valentine’s into our life, more balloons to carry us forward with determination and upward with love. The balloons of love expanded as our family grew, with experiences and trials, and through the generous gifts of life.

Sometimes balloons may deflate or pop, yet we continue to soar as other balloons take over as repairs are made, time to heal passes, and nurturing creates renewed lift.

We are a colorful kaleidoscope of talents, skills, desires, hopes, and dreams. We have things we embrace equally, and things we embrace differently. Yet, we fully embrace together the love of family.

It’s my honor to be married to the most beautiful woman. It’s my honor to be a father of five incredible kiddos and a papa of two equally incredible grandkiddos.
