A leader who creates magic is one to follow. A leader who empowers you to create your own magic is next level. A leader who empowers everyone to work together so we all achieve magic is truly a servant leader.

This is the type of leader Cheryl Knowlton is. She will be stepping in as president of the Mountain West chapter of the National Speakers Association. We gathered in the beautiful Salt Lake Valley this past Saturday for our annual leadership retreat.

While much of our discussion concerned the nuts and bolts of leading an organization, our thoughts were primarily focused on empowering the incredible people who are part of the organization to find and share their voices with confidence as they create their stories of greatness.

In the words of Cheryl, and what has become her theme for the coming year, we focused on being a T.E.A.M.

Whether you want to be a speaker, a more confident leader, a more effective salesperson, or you simply want to use your voice with more confidence, Get Paid to Speak is for you.

This “TED Talk” like presentation will feature 17 incredible speakers sharing some of the different ways to “get paid to speak” by using your voice, improving your speaking skills, and sharing your story.

Some of the best speakers in the country are on the program, including Cheryl Knowlton, Rob Ferre, Kris Barney, Dr. Paul Jenkins, Spencer Horn, and Jodi Brown. Also on the program are my incredible speaking coaches, Ty Bennett and Hall of Fame speaker Chad Hymas.
