#SUNDAYREFLECTIONS: REMEMBERING 9/11 AND EACH LIFE THAT TOUCHED OURS FOR GOOD

Two decades ago, plus one year, the world we knew changed with the fatal journey of four planes. In the blink of those horrible moments, thousands of people died, and thousands more would eventually die through the lingering impact to physical and mental health as well as in service to our country.

Each one of those thousands of people was a person who touched others for good… their families, their places of work, their neighborhoods, their communities.

As we share the beautiful music from the hymn “Each Life That Touches Ours For Good”, written by Karen Lynn Davidson and arranged by Jason Tonioli, may we always remember each life is indeed a life lived for good.

Have A Beautiful Sunday!

We love you!

EACH LIFE THAT TOUCHES OURS FOR GOOD

Each life that touches ours for good
Reflects thine own great mercy, Lord;
Thou sendest blessings from above
Thru words and deeds of those who love.

What greater gift dost thou bestow,
What greater goodness can we know
Than Christlike friends, whose gentle ways
Strengthen our faith, enrich our days.

When such a friend from us departs,
We hold forever in our hearts
A sweet and hallowed memory,
Bringing us nearer, Lord, to thee.

For worthy friends whose lives proclaim
Devotion to the Savior’s name,
Who bless our days with peace and love,
We praise thy goodness, Lord, above.
