Monday Morning Boost: Hope, Light, Confidence, Connection, Love
A recent conversation with a friend prompted me to ponder and share a few thoughts. My pondering led me to rediscover a binding link between Hope, Light, Confidence, Connection and, most importantly, Love.
I hope my friend finds something of value. Perhaps you may as well.
❤️ HOPE CREATES LIGHT
In the darkness of struggle, hope, along with her sisters of faith and charity, work simply together to create a radiating gift of liberating light.
❤️ LIGHT CREATES CONFIDENCE
As light grows, dark and discouraging thoughts… “Ugly Truths” as I call them… will be replaced by confidence-creating thoughts and words leading to better understanding, more trusted communications, and corresponding actions.
❤️ CONFIDENCE CREATES CONNECTION
As hope creates light, confidence begins to show up. With confidence comes the resulting gift of connection… Connection with ourselves, with God, with others, and especially with those who matter most.
When we feel more connected in life, we start to trust ourselves more. We want to laugh more, feel more, and discover the greatness in all life has to offer. We feel like we have a purpose to work towards, we feel needed, and feel confident enough to show up more.
And here’s the magic…
Confidence empowers us to get back up, every time, no matter what. We get up because we want to stay present, engaged, and connected. When we get knocked down, or screw up and fall down, we want to keep our promise to get back up, to try again, and again. We are more willing to ask for help, even if we don’t know how, and we’re more willing to receive help.
Then we are more willing to feel love, give love, and receive love. Deep inside, even with our journey of struggles, we fully want to feel love, feel love for living life, and feel love for those who matter most.
HOPE ⤇ LIGHT ⤇ CONFIDENCE ⤇ CONNECTION ⤇ LOVE
