I wrote a poem yesterday about the challenges we go through while on this journey we call life. May this little gem bless you as much as it has blessed me.

I TRUST I WILL RECEIVE

Oh the challenges of life
Be they large or kindly small
May my heart wax confidently
That in faith I may conquer all.

May I look with courage strong
Upon the obstacles in my path
To see them as stepping stones
Experiences which I must have.

Prepared I then will better be
For more of this journey’s strife
A simple yet complicated gift
From One who sees all of my life.

Wisdom granted, I trust I will receive
That in turn to others I may impart
An encouraging word, a helping hand
A tender blessing for struggling hearts.
