If you’ve had a tough day that’s kicking your butt, one of the best things you can do to “Gain the Red Edge” is to get up and get going. Physically moving your body automatically makes you feel better. Even if we are out of shape, sore and tired, physically moving increases blood flow to the brain which will automatically improve the way our mind is thinking.
My get up and going yesterday was mowing my lawn! It was the end of the day, turning dark already, and I really didn’t want to do it. But I wanted to feel better.
So I got off my butt and went to work.
It only took a few minutes to start feeling rejuvenated.
My mind started relaxing.
When our soul is gripped by discouragement or depression, it’s easy to see all that’s dark and hard in life. And it’s more difficult to see all the beautiful things in life.
