I have been selected to be part of the Paid to Speak event for the Mountain West Chapter of the National Speaker Association in Salt Lake City. I’ll be sharing the stage with 17 other incredible speakers in this “TED Talk” like presentation. Each of us will be sharing some of the different ways to get “paid to speak” by using our voice to make more money.

Some of the best speakers in the country are on the program, including Cheryl Knowlton, Rob Ferre, Kris Barney and Spencer Horn. Also on the program are my incredible speaking coaches, Ty Bennett and Hall of Fame speaker Chad Hymas.

My message will focus specifically on the simple Power of Three formula “Vision – Strategy – Promise” I have developed to empower leaders like you to share your voice with more confidence.

I have long enjoyed sharing stories, one-on-one, in front of a group, and on a stage. But that wasn’t always the case. While even as a youth I like to share stories and give talks in church, I didn’t feel very confident. I wasn’t sure if my message was connecting. When people would tell me I did a good job, I would silently refute their compliments as obligatory platitudes.

Over the years, I became more comfortable and confident sharing my voice. I began seeking out opportunities to speak in front of groups, non-profit organizations, firesides, and I was always willing to accept an invitation to speak in church.
