Monday Morning Boost: I Love Cache Valley!

Monday Morning Boost: I Love Cache Valley!

A recent question about the good and bad of living in Logan and Cache Valley prompted me to share the following thoughts…

We fell in love with Cache Valley when we moved here in 1991 to go to school. We continue every day to fall in love with this beautiful valley and the beautiful people that live here, including those that just moved here from California.

We choose to see the beauty and greatness that is here, and do what we can to help with the challenges presented. And I recognize there are many challenges.

Traffic is a challenge. Population growth is a challenge. Taxes and infrastructure are a challenge. The growing demand on our school systems is a challenge. Access to full health care is a challenge. Clean air is a challenge. Water and drought are a challenge.

These challenges exist to some degree in every community, large and small, across the country. These challenges exist in other countries as well.

Here’s what I found. I see what I look for. I see challenges when I focus on challenges. I see beauty when I focus on beauty. I see opportunities when I focus on opportunities.

And, yes, I will pick up somebody else’s garbage to make life just a little bit better.

That was the extent of my answer, and I feel it stands on its own. I don’t have much more to add other than to share these stunning photos courtesy of Nathan Blaylock via Pixabay

And to say…

I love Cache Valley, and I hope you love the place you call home.

Have a beautiful Monday! I love you, friends!

Les

p.s. Take 13 minutes today to fall in love with the place you call home.
