Monday Morning Boost: Sunday Will Come
As Easter week is here, I find myself reflecting on the significance of this time. The week begins with Palm Sunday, a day that marks Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Crowds of people welcomed Him, laying palm branches at His feet and shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”
But the joy of Palm Sunday was short-lived. In just a few days, the same crowds would turn against Jesus, and He would be arrested, tried, and ultimately crucified on Good Friday. As I think about the events of that week, I am reminded of the ups and downs of life. Sometimes things can be going great, and then suddenly, everything falls apart.
But the message of Easter is that “Sunday will come”.
On that first Easter Sunday, Jesus rose from the dead, defeating death and offering hope to all who believe in Him. It’s a message of hope that we need to hold onto, especially when life gets hard.
When I think about the difficulties I’ve faced in my own life, I’m grateful for the promise of Easter. There have been times when I’ve felt like everything was falling apart, when I didn’t know how I was going to make it through. But I’ve learned that even in the darkest moments, there is hope.
This hope comes from knowing that Sunday will come. Just as Jesus rose from the dead, we too can rise above our circumstances. We can find strength, hope, and peace in the midst of our struggles, knowing that there is a brighter future ahead.
As we celebrate Easter this week, let’s hold onto this message of hope. Let’s remember that no matter how difficult life may be, Sunday will come. And with it comes the promise of new beginnings, renewed strength, and everlasting life.
I leave you a small gift, the poem Sunday Will Come. You are welcome to share with others and even print it out (easily prints on a 5×7).
Have a beautiful Monday! I love you, friends!
