Monday Morning Boost: I Am Flawed & Broken… BUT…
If you have ever found in me a voice of encouragement or hope, I promise you friends it is not…
- Because my journey has not been hard.
- Because I figured everything out.
- Because I have all the answers.
- Because I am always hopeful.
- Because I don’t screw up.
My journey, maybe much like yours, has been more of a crawl through the briars and thorns of living life along with the soul-destroying muck and mire of poor choices.
I am flawed and broken, weak and overwhelmed, lost and discouraged. I too often want to quit trying.
BUT…
And this must be important friends because I am not a big fan of using the word ‘BUT’…
If you have ever found in me a voice of encouragement or hope, perhaps it is because…
- I get back up even when it’s hard.
- I keep going even when it’s hard.
- I believe without having to see.
- I keep trying to figure life out.
- I know the value of who I am.
My journey, probably much like yours, has been one of creating a new story while traversing through the briars and thorns of living life, of finding success by rising in greatness after being stuck in the soul-destroying muck and mire of poor choices.
- I am flawed and broken BUT I am creating the best version of myself.
- I am weak and overwhelmed BUT I am finding strength and rising confidently in my greatness.
- I am lost and discouraged BUT I am following my eternal North Star and fostering confident courage as navigate my challenges.
- I too often want to quit trying BUT I keep my eternal promise to “get back up, every time, no matter what.”
BUT… MOST IMPORTANTLY…
- I know in whom I trust is the source of all light and hope.
- I have been intentional and consistent in creating my story of greatness.
- I have had incredible help, guidance, and mentoring as I rise in my confidence.
- I will continue to have help, guidance, and mentoring on this beautiful journey of life.
